Important 2008 campaign issues
Ricardo Planas, a Ph.D. in Political Science from The George Washington University, senior political analyst and follower of foreign policy and US political parties, has made his new book available on ReasonandPolitics.com. The book discusses important 2008 campaign issues and 2008 presidential campaigns from the perspective of someone non-partisan, who allies himself with neither the Republicans nor the Democrats, but rather from the perspective of someone who believes that the American people are not properly served by today's negative campaigning and the polarizing effect of "culture war" type topics like abortion, gay marriage, gun control, and felony disenfranchisement. Available as free downloadable ebooks, each chapter of "I'm Right, You're Wrong! NO You're Wrong, I'm Right!" takes on a different issue related to American politics from the perspective that all human beings have a certain innate dignity.
The book is a call to action for a new generation of political leaders to be created, a group willing to cut across ideologies and guide the nation accordingly, while considering moral values and ethics instead of setting them aside, or using them for exploitative gain.
Free downloadable ebooks, chapters
The entire book is available free of charge on ReasonandPolitics.com. The ebooks free download allows for downloading each chapter as a separate PDF, for easy printing or screen reading. The purpose for releasing this work as free downloadable ebooks is to open the political discourse in this country and to allow for non-partisan perspectives to cut through the polarizing rhetoric that capitalizes on most media attention. Some of the 2008 campaign issues covered in the separate chapters include:
- Political correctness
- Gun control
- Abortion
- Women's Liberation
- Pornography
- Gay Marriage
- War on Terror and the Iraq War
